P.R.P. & Tissue Regeneration

Tissue regeneration is an essential aspect of treatment to achieve a complete and harmonious restoration of aesthetics and function.

In recent years several techniques have been proposed and have evaluated several types of materials (autologous and heterologous) and the whole was subjected to critical review through the conduct of clinical and histological investigations.

The need to overcome problems inherent: high costs, the risk of cross infection, the advantage of being able to prepare in the studio at the time of surgery, have led to the development of new techniques based on the exploitation of the great potential of growth factors (Grow-Factors).

Platelets, they have inside the granules (growth factors PDGF) that are released during their break.

This factor is mainly involved in increased mitotic activity (cell division) of the process of tissue repair, is involved in the' angiogenesis (formation of capillaries, and nutritional and oxygen which are the first movens of regeneration.
The platelet concentration is obtained by centrifuging the blood collected from the patient.


In doing so we have a large number of molecules of PDGF compared with a normal blood clot, to understand we have to imagine that while the wound for a normal platelet count is available as a stream, centrifuging the blood is like a large river, as well as, the PO.

In vitro studies have shown that PDGF is released from platelets by a process of degranulation, which occurs after a few minutes away from contact with the surface receiver

All this translates into quality and degree of patient satisfaction
